
Vera Schmitt

Vera Schmitt is a
Ph.D. student at the Quality and Usability Lab, TU Berlin. In her
research, she focuses on Usable Privacy in the domain of location-based
services. Before she started her Ph.D. she did a B.A. in Politics and
Public Administration at the University of Konstanz and a M.Sc. in Data
Science at the Leuphana University in Lüneburg. Furthermore, she
co-founded a social venture (CorrelAid) which is a non-profit network of
data science enthusiasts who dedicate their work for the social sector
in order to improve data literacy for other non-profit organisations.
